If 2019-20 will be your first year participating in CCP at KR please have the following steps completed by May 31:
1.      Complete the on-line application for admission to Clark State’s College Credit Plus program using the following link:
NOTE:  Be sure to complete and submit both steps of the application.
2.      Meet the testing requirement for admission and courses selected with ACT scores or ACCUPLACER at Clark State.   Please note that ACCUPLACER is free for the first time taken; there is a $15 retest fee if another attempt is needed to meet the testing requirement.  You will need to take a photo ID with you to test.  BRING YOUR SCORE REPORT TO MRS. YOUNG.
         Contact Clark State at 937-328-6049 to schedule an appointment to take the ACCUPLACER placement test at the Leffel Lane campus.  Be sure to tell them you are a high school student needing to test for College Credit Plus.  Also tell them what tests you need to take:  Reading and Writing (all students); Math for those students completing Advanced/Algebra II wanting to take College Algebra, Statistics, Pre-Calculus or Calculus. 
         For students who have taken one or more CCP courses at KR or Clark State: 
You may need to retest in English if you had a score of 4 and just took CCP French or Spanish III this year.  You may need to test for the CCP math course you want to take. Please note if you have successfully completed a CCP math class you may not need to take the Math test – see Mrs. Young.

Students who receive support services specified in an IEP or 504 Plan and wish to receive accommodations for ACCUPLACER need to make prior arrangements for testing by contacting the Office of Accessibility at 937.328.6019   Mrs. Young can also give you the forms needed by Clark State in order to receive accommodations in CCP courses at KR and Clark State.
            Students planning to attend a college other than Clark State need to follow the application, testing and advisement process and deadlines as indicated by their selected college.
