Rube Goldberg Inventions

     Every year as part of our unit on simple machines, the physical science students build a Rube Goldberg Machine that moves a ball one meter. The project consists of three parts:


1) a drawing showing how students "think" their machines will work - their initial ideas.

2) the machine is graded according to three criteria: working, complexity, and creativity.

3) a journal describing the trials and tribulations on building the machine and how the final version of the machine works.

Some of the machines will be on display during the Art Show on Wednesday, May 15th in the KR Commons.
