Any student in legal (excused) absence from school will be granted the opportunity to make up work missed and receive credit. It is the responsibility of the student to obtain the make-up assignments and, in the case of illness, to hand them in within a period of time upon return to school which equals the number of days absent plus one. This rule may not apply to missed tests or exams; students should return prepared to make up tests or exams. Students who have been found to be truant or unexcused absent may receive missed assignments, but WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THEM.
