Minutes:
The
minutes of the September 10 meeting were reviewed. Carla motioned they be accepted as written and Peggy
seconded. The motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report:
Peggy
shared that NPC budgeted $3000.00 for the Entertainment Book sale and we brought
in $16846.00 and the school receives ˝ of that.
Carla made the motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report.
Diana seconded the motion and it passed.
Old Business:
Entertainment
Book sales went really well, Carla was able to pick items out of a catalog with
points we earned from the entertainment book sale and we got new balls and a
megaphone for the elementary and new balls for the middle school, Carla is still
waiting on prizes for the kids; she is working with entertainment book on that.
New Business:
1.
Guest-
President from the Board of Education Mr. Kadel was here to explain and give us
details about Issue 17, and was wondering if we could get information out to the
parents and have a meeting and invite parents and people in the community to
advise them on how important this levy is.
2. Box
Tops- Diana said we will be
getting a check for approximately
$1000.00.
Diana said that the middle school collected more
than the elementary school.

Sales – Magazine
sale collection days are Oct 22, Oct 24, Oct
26,
and Oct 29.

Holiday
Gift Shoppe
– Set up 12/4 at 9AM

Thank
you notes
– Thank you notes received from Mr. Linson, Stephanie Foreman, Billy Blazer,
Stacey Williams, Mrs. Binz, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Doogs, and Mrs. Alzner.
Carla
made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:43am and Diana seconded.
The motion passed.
