ROLLING HILLS SCHOOL LATCHKEY
2008-2009
Dear
Parent,
In order to
enroll your child in the Latchkey program you will need to register your child
by filling out an emergency medical form and a registration form.
There is a $10.00 registration fee for the first child and a $1.00 fee for the
second child. Checks are payable to the Rolling Hills Latchkey.
Latchkey is open at
2:15 P.M. until 5:45 P.M.
The charge per hour is $3.50 for the first child, $3.00 for the second child,
and $2.50 for the third child. The charge per 1/2 hour is $1.75 for the first
child, $1.50 for the second child, and $1.25 for the third child. After
6:00 P.M. you will be charged $10.00 for every 15 minutes you are late.
The Latchkey
personnel will sign your child in when they arrive and the parent or person
picking up the child MUST sign them out. Only those people
designated on the LATCHKEY Emergency Medical form will be permitted to pick up
your child. You will be charged only
for the time your child is in Latchkey.
PAYMENTS
ARE TAKEN ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY OF EACH WEEK.
No payments will be taken on Friday. It is the parent’s responsibility to get
payment due from latchkey staff. Amounts due will not be carried more
than two weeks. If not paid by the second week, your child will not
be allowed to stay in Latchkey until the amount is paid in full. This
is Board Policy and will be enforced. All Latchkey
payments MUST be up to date for child to receive a report card.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS FOR TAX PURPOSES. The school does NOT provide information for income tax purposes. The tax I.D. # you will need is 31-6001517.
Rules
for Latchkey:
1.
All school
rules apply.
2.
No hitting,
pushing, shoving or kicking will be tolerated.
3.
Be respectful
to others at all times.
CONSEQUENCES:
1ST
OFFENSE: Latchkey staff will talk with child.
2nd OFFENSE: Latchkey staff will talk with parent.
3rd OFFENSE: Latchkey staff will report incident to Mr.
Blazer. At that time Mr. Blazer will handle the situation accordingly.
Suspension from Latchkey may be a consequence.
