Mr. Cory Kettler - This is my third year at Rolling Hills. I have been married to Angie Kettler for 20 years. My son Cameron is in the 11th grade at Kenton Ridge, and my daughter Courtney is in the 6th grade here at Northridge. I also have two dogs named Cheyanne and Scruffy. I graduated from BGSU in 1998 with my Bachelor's degree, where I played college football. I then graduated in 2014 with my Master's degree from Antioch Midwest University. I coach high school football at Northeastern High School, and girls fast-pitch softball for the West Liberty Force. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing and spending time with my family. Mrs. Meadows -- I am a teacher. I've always wanted to be a teacher. I knew I WOULD SOMEDAY BE a teacher when my cousin, Suzie, and I played school on the clay road next to my house in Florida. I was ALWAYS the teacher. Suzie was ALWAYS the student.
I teach first grade at Rolling Hills and one of the things I love about the grade is the moment when the lightbulb goes off in a student's brain and they realize they've learned to read! Teaching first grade also allows me to stay young...to dance...to sing...to use silly voices when I read.
One thing you may not know about me is that I am a bubble-blowing champion. Yes. It's true. I won a belching contest one time too but my mom was NOT proud of that accomplishment. I was a majorette in high school and I traveled with a singing group in college.
These days I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My daughters, Amy and Andrea, live right here in Springfield. My son, Bryan, lives in Florida! I know. Living at the beach is rough, right? My husband, Bucky, is retired and living the life. I love reading, swimming, and traveling. I really enjoy Diet Coke from McDonald's. Click here
