The fourth grade students from Rolling Hills attended the Fair at New Boston at George Rogers Clark Park. Our students stepped back in time to the 1812 to learn about Ohio history! Everything about this event creates the illusion of time travel to 1790-1810.
They were entertained by magicians, lace makers, and tinsmiths. The students asked questions to Native Americans, Daniel Boone, and Silas Moore. Silas is the village rat catcher.
Our superintendent, Dr. Kramer joined the students for some learning and a flash mob dance! This field trip is a great way to kick off a year of learning Ohio history.
