Kindergarten parents will need to register their children at South Vienna, Rolling Hills and Northridge Schools between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm during the week of April 18th (Monday thru Thursday) for the 2011-2012 school year.

If parents cannot come to their school during the designated week to register, they should call the school during the registration week (Northridge Elementary-342-4627, South Vienna Elementary-568-4038, or Rolling Hills Elementary-399-2250).

Children who will be entering kindergarten in the Northeastern Local District this fall must be five (5) years of age by September 30, 2011. Also, children entering the first grade that did not attend kindergarten in the district are also requested to register.

Parents are asked to bring their child’s verification of residency, birth certificate, custody papers (if applicable), and their immunization record. It is not necessary for parents to bring their children to the registration.

Enrollment considerations for Kindergarten may require that children may not be attending the school in the attendance area they live in or the school at which they register or were screened due to class size.
