March 16, 2020 Meal Service Update

Dear Northeastern Local School District Families,
As part of our efforts to provide services for families during the mandated school closure, our student nutrition department has developed a plan for continuity of our food service programs.
Bagged meal pick-up for students during the mandated school closure will begin this Tuesday, March 17. 
Bagged meals will be available to pick up at the following locations between 11:30 to 12 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, March 20, and Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3. Bagged meal pick-up will not be held during our originally-scheduled Spring Break due to staffing levels for the week of March 23-27. If you are concerned about food access during spring break, please contact the Second Harvest Food Bank or call 211 to contact the United Way.

If these arrangements are a challenge for your family, please contact the school your child attends or your child’s teacher to discuss options. Making sure that our students have access to critical services is important to our district and we want to work with your family to find solutions.
