March 16, 2020 Distance Learning Update

Dear Northeastern Local School District Families,

Helping our students continue to grow as learners is a priority for our staff during this unprecedented time. We are working hard to offer meaningful distance learning options for families that will support our students in meeting their educational goals.

E-learning for students will take place Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3. Our staff is busy preparing meaningful work for your students now. You should have received a call after 6 p.m. on Monday, March 16, about distance learning from your child’s principal. Our teachers will be communicating directly with families about student assignments during this time, so please be on the lookout for communication from our staff.

In the spirit of the Governor’s order, buildings will not be accessible during the mandated closure. If you need to make arrangements to pick up items your student needs, please call the office of the school your child attends to make arrangements to pick up items. If technology access is a concern for your family, please contact your child’s teacher so we can work on solutions.

We appreciate your partnership and support. Please continue checking our website at for information about the school closure and distance learning. Please make sure you read our update on meal service today.

Thank you,

Dr. John Kronour
