Kids Hope Builds Relationships at Rolling Hills

The Kids Hope program at Rolling Hills Elementary continues to build bridges between our schools and community.
Rolling Hills received a Certificate of Recognition for their participation in the Kids Hope USA mentoring program. Kids Hope USA National (Corrie Letko), State (Patty Rose), and Local (Vickey Kauffman) representatives presented the award to Rolling Hills coordinator Mrs. Whip. Utilizing the existing structures of churches and elementary schools as the framework for these programs, Kids Hope USA creates successful, sustainable and life-changing church-school partnerships.
Kids Hope is a national program that creates one-on-one mentoring relationships between adult church members and elementary school children. The mentors provide caring and involved adults for students who may be at risk and benefit from building a relationship with these dedicated community members. Kids Hope USA requires mentors to participate in training and background checks to ensure that the program is a successful and positive addition to our school community.
