The Northeastern Local School District Board of Education invites community members to a meeting on the facilities project on July 18.
The meeting will include updates, time to ask questions and details on the floor plan for the Kenton Ridge PK-12 building. Floor plans for the South Vienna PK-12 building were discussed at an April 3 meeting.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, at Kenton RIdge High School.
The NELSD Facilities project will construct two new preschool through 12th grade facilities in the district. One campus will be on property adjacent to the current South Vienna school to the north and west. The second campus will be located on property to the north and west of the current Kenton Ridge High School.
The project is funded through a bond issue passed by voters in May 2018 and a state contribution of 40 percent of the project from the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission.
Ruetschle Architects has been selected as the architect for the project and Shook-Touchstone is the Construction Manager At-Risk.
