Results of OSFC Building Projects

Sandy Valley Local Schools
Magnolia, OH

Sandy Valley is benefiting from a massive investment in technology as result of our OSFC building project.  The OSFC building design provides technology systems that on its own Sandy Valley local schools could never afford.  We know that to provide a 21st Century education, Sandy Valley must provide ubiquitous technology access for every student.  To accomplish this goal, Sandy Valley installed a Cisco wireless infrastructure that supports a one-to-one learning environment.  Our modern educational network supplies enough bandwidth to support:

a) Gigabit data access
b) Voice over IP phones in every classroom and support of wifi portable IP phones
c) Proximity card door access to insure building security
d) Indoor & outdoor security cameras
e) VBrick Digital video broadcasting original local live and stored content
f) LifeSize HD IP Video Conferencing units to access remote live content from Museums, Universities, Institutes, etc
g) Voice messaging, Homework Hotline, automatic outbound calling system
h) SSL-VPN enables students to access their electronic portfolio files from home
i) Digital eLearning to provide structured courses online
j) Lightspeed sound augmentation & amplification system for every classroom.
k) DLP Enfocus LCD projectors in every classroom.
l) Portable interactive whiteboards

As a result of our OSFC building project the district migrated from a wide flung consolidated district of four buildings located in 4 different communities to a two building campus. Fiber inter-connects both buildings with the admin building, bus garage, athletic fields, and other out-buildings. Broadband connectivity and resources reaches every corner of the district.
