NEHS | Local Students Selected to Join Honor Band & Play with Top Musicians in Dayton Area

NEHS Sophomores Connor Ball (trumpet) and Alyssa Lethcoe (clarinet) were selected from over 400 applicants to participate in the Wright State University Honor Band Festival on February 16th, 17th and 18th, joining approximately 80 student musicians from all over the Dayton area.

The festival ran from Thursday evening through Friday and culminated Saturday afternoon with a concert.

Learning an entire concert's worth of music in just two-and-a-half days with a band of entirely new people is quite a task, but Alyssa and Connor rose to the challenge and represented our school very well.
