Substitute Bus Drivers needed for routes across NELSD

$15.98 per hour

The district fully trains applicants to assist them in acquiring licensure.

What are the requirements to be a school bus driver?

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• After obtaining a CDL B permit, drivers are required to attend a four-day pre-service class, complete a minimum of 12 hours of behind-the-wheel training with our district instructor, pass an ODE-certified physical, drug screening, and BCI/FBI background checks. Then a driver can attempt to take their CDL B license test to obtain their permanent license.
