I graduated from Miami University in the spring of 2012 with a math and statistics major. I finished my math education degree the following semester. I will be teaching Geometry and Advanced Geometry at Northeastern High School. Prior to my career at Northeastern I taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Honors Geometry at Talawanda High School in Oxford, Ohio. I have been a math tutor to a number of high school and college students. It encourages me to see my students excel whether it be through independent instruction or in a classroom setting. I have worked with students from many different backgrounds and have succeeded at accommodating them in any way that they need. I've been a leader for a number of summer camps and student groups over the years. I continue to be very passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of my students with every opportunity that is presented to me.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, exploring unique restaurants, visiting my family in Costa Rica, and going to Zumba!
