Classroom Chronicles: Your Bi-Weekly Dose of Academic Inspiration 5/20/25
For the final Classroom Chronicles episode of the 2024–25 school year, we stopped by Mrs. Watkins’ fifth-grade art class at Northeastern Elementary, where creativity is always in the air! Students are currently working on a hands-on clay project, using the pinch pot technique to create unique and expressive pieces.
Throughout the year, Mrs. Watkins has guided her students through a variety of engaging lessons, including one-point perspective drawings, a class favorite! Whether they're shaping clay or drawing depth and dimension on paper, these young Jets are learning to express themselves through art. This episode highlights not only their creative skills but also the supportive classroom environment that allows them to explore, experiment, and grow.
Classroom Chronicles is our series that showcases the inspiring work of our teachers and the impact they have on our students.
