Joint Public Meeting Scheduled for May 21 on Liberty Place TIF

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio, April 29, 2026—The Board of Clark County Commissioners, in partnership with Moorefield Township and the Northeastern Local School District, will host a joint public meeting to discuss the proposed Liberty Place development and associated Tax Increment Financing (TIF) structure.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, May 21, at 6:00 p.m. at Kenton Ridge High School in the cafeteria. Members of the public are encouraged to attend. Parking will be available in the front lot with building access through the main entrance.

The Liberty Place Project is a planned residential development consisting of 159 single-family homes, designed to include open space and supporting infrastructure.

The purpose of the joint meeting is to provide an overview of the proposed TIF structure related to Liberty Place, explain how it may support infrastructure improvements, and allow for coordinated discussion among the County, Township, and School District.

The meeting will include a presentation on the Liberty Place TIF framework, questions and discussion among elected officials and administrators, and the public will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide input.  This joint meeting is part of an ongoing effort to ensure transparency, collaboration, and public engagement prior to any final decisions.

“We appreciate the partnership of Moorefield Township and Northeastern Local Schools in hosting this important discussion,” said Commission President Sasha Rittenhouse. “Community input is a critical part of this process, and we encourage residents to attend, learn more, and share their perspectives.”
