Our Kenton Ridge High School and Middle School Choirs made their concert debut on Wednesday, November 1st!  Five choirs performed at their first concert of the year: 7th Grade Choir, 8th Grade Choir, Symphonic Choir, Cantabile, and Chamber Singers!  

7th Grade Choir performed: Singing Rounds Titled: 'Black Socks,' 'I Sat Next To The Duchess At Tea,' 'The Mill Wheel,' Quodlibet consisting of: 'Hey! Ho! Nobody Home'/'Ah, Poor Bird'/'Rose, Rose'

8th Grade Choir performed: Singing Rounds Titled: 'Autumn's Silent Call,' 'Apple Maggot Quarantine Round,' "Shine A Little Light!" by Andy Beck-Soloists: Karlee Zugelder, Lorianna Clark, Kevon Watkins, Adalynn Stelzer

7th/8th Grade Combined: "Yonder Come Day!" arr. Judith Cook Tucker 

Symphonic Choir performed: "Wings" arr. Strommen- Soloists: Tamia Horstman and Robert Hutchinson

Cantabile Choir performed: "Ton Thé" arr. Brumfield- Sung in the original French language

Chamber Singers performed: "Festival Sanctus" arr. Leavitt

High School Combined:  "River in Judea" arr. Leavitt, "Rest" by Sorenson, "Praise His Holy Name!" by Hampton

Symphonic, Cantabile, and Chamber Singers are less than two weeks away from their trip to New York City on November 16th to sing, sightsee, and experience the “Big Apple” as a group!  The Kenton Ridge High School Choirs have been invited to perform at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. They will sing the songs they performed at their debut concert as a combined choir, along with two additional songs.
