Meet Our New District Payroll Specialist: Mrs. Emily Rhoads
It’s time for the Northeastern Local School District (NELSD) to welcome the newest member of our staff! Everyone, meet Mrs. Emily Rhoads, the District Payroll Specialist!
Originally from Georgia, Rhoads has made her way over to the NELSD! Her husband, Ed, is a Northeastern alum, and her daughters both attended South Vienna Elementary and Middle School. Her favorite part of our district is, “Attending events and seeing the children of my friends perform athletically and musically at both Kenton Ridge and Northeastern, as well as interacting with friends and family.
Working in payroll at Wittenberg for over seven years has reinforced the importance of every job at NELSD and other schools in this area and the value added that our students bring to our communities and workforces after graduation.” How awesome!
As Rhoads previously stated, she has gained immense payroll and accounting knowledge from her previous job position at Wittenberg University. Rhoads also attended Franklin University and Clark State College!
Aside from being an accounting aficionado, Rhoads is also heavily involved in 4-H. She and her husband are advisors for the “Livestock Unlimited” 4-H Club! They also breed sows and produce show pigs for kids both in and out of state. In her free time, Rhoads enjoys visiting her children, hiking, reading, and cleaning!
The District is so thankful to have gained another remarkable employee, and we know that the NELSD is in good hands. Again, give a warm welcome to Mrs. Emily Rhoads!!
