Northeastern Elementary School Earns Prestigious Momentum Award
School recognized for significant academic improvement and excellence
SOUTH VIENNA, Ohio, April 29, 2026—Northeastern Elementary School has earned statewide recognition, receiving the Momentum Award from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce for outstanding results on the 2024-2025 Ohio School Report Card.
Northeastern Elementary has achieved remarkable gains, demonstrating exceptional growth and improving its Performance Index by three or more points between the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 Ohio School Report Cards, while earning a Value-Added rating of four or more stars. This dual achievement reflects both significant academic progress and effective teaching practices that maximize student learning.
The recognition highlights Northeastern Elementary's commitment to excellence and dedication to students' growth inside and outside the classroom. The award validates the collaborative efforts of its educators, families, and community to support every student's success.
