Meet Miss Tayler Seelig, Northeastern’s amazing School Counseling Secretary and this week’s shining staff spotlight! Miss Seelig is a crucial part of the school counselor's office, bringing a warm, caring energy to every interaction. She makes every student feel heard and valued, offering a listening ear when needed and helping to make each visit to the office a positive experience.

When Miss Seelig is not helping our students reach their academic goals, she is coaching them on the field! As a throwing coach for Northeastern’s track and field team, she empowers student-athletes to push their limits and reach their full potential. Her love for sport extends beyond high school athletes⸺she also organizes the Junior Jets (Elementary) track meet, where she shares her passion, energy, and dedication to athletics with the next generation. For Miss Seelig, the strong sense of community involvement is one of the things she loves most about the district.

Outside of school, Miss Seelig stays busy working hard toward her Communications degree at Wright State University. In addition to her studies, she's also a talented baker and runs her own cake business, specializing in wedding cakes! When she’s not coaching, studying, or baking, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.

Thank you, Miss Seelig, for your unwavering support of our students and your love for the NELSD community. Your kindness, positivity, and willingness to listen make a lasting impact on everyone who walks through the doors of the counseling office. Whether you are guiding students, coaching athletes, or sharing your passion for track and field, your care and commitment shine through in all you do. We are so grateful for your bright smile, compassionate heart, and the difference you make every day. You are a true Shining Staff member, and we are lucky to have you!
