Shining Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Sherry Green
This week, we are thrilled to spotlight a staff member who is kind, hardworking, and has a contagious smile that lights up the room. Meet Mrs. Sherry Green, a district office staff member who works in payroll personnel. Mrs. Green has been an outstanding employee who shows up every day with a get-it-done attitude and brings organization and direction to all of her work.
Mrs. Green has dedicated an incredible twenty-three years to our school district, working diligently behind the scenes, and will be embarking on a well-deserved retirement at the beginning of September. While her quiet dedication and steady support will be deeply missed by everyone who has relied on her expertise, we are overjoyed for her as she begins this new chapter. Mrs. Green is truly one of the kindest and most caring individuals, and her meticulous work in areas like staff onboarding, workers' compensation claims, and employee benefits has been essential to the smooth operation of our district.
Outside the office, Mrs. Green enjoys walking her dog, Hunter, making crafts, traveling, and swimming during the summer months. One of her goals after retirement is to try new things and embrace adventure. She also cherishes spending quality time with her loved ones, including her husband, Dale, her two stepdaughters, Lora and Amanda, and her six grandchildren.
Mrs. Green, a proud graduate of Kenton Ridge High School, Class of 1979, has an inspiring educational journey that reflects both the transitions of the local school district and the resilience of a dedicated student. Having attended Northridge School and Northeastern School before Kenton Ridge opened in 1978, Mrs. Green has seen firsthand the growth and change of the district and community.
Thank you, Mrs. Green, for your unwavering dedication, hard work, and positive impact on our district. Your commitment to excellence and passion for this district make a lasting difference, and we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful work you have brought to our district. We wish you the best moving forward after retirement and are excited to celebrate your remarkable career with you!
