This week’s Shining Student Spotlight comes from Kenton Ridge High School (KRHS)!  This week we are highlighting one of our superstar students, Etta Springhetti! Etta, a freshman at KRHS, earned multiple staff recommendations for her infectious personality and radiant smile!

While Etta remains busy throughout the school day, we were able to grab some time with her for a brief interview. Check out what she had to say!

Q: What are you most passionate about? 
A: I’m most passionate about helping others, drawing and creating art, and learning about animals and insects.

Q: What are you most proud of accomplishing? 
A: The accomplishment I'm most proud of is my good grades throughout the school years.

Q:What challenges have you overcome, and how have they made you a stronger person? 
A: A challenge I've overcome is being afraid to talk to people, and I've become stronger by opening up more and getting better at communicating with others.

Q: How do you make a difference in your school and community?

Q: What clubs and sports are you involved with at KR/NE or outside of school?
A: A sport I am involved with at KR is Powerlifting.

Q: What does “Cougar Pride” mean to you?
A:  To me, “Cougar Pride” means being proud of our school and the people in it.

Q: What does “Once a Cougar, Always a Cougar” mean to you?
A: To me, “Once a Cougar, always a Cougar” means that the things and lessons we learned while in school and the KR community will stick with us the rest of our lives.

Q: What advice would you give your underclassmen?
A: To the underclassman, the advice I would give them is to always listen to your teachers and be kind to others.

Q: What has been your favorite memory throughout your years of high school?
A: My favorite memory of my first year in high school is getting to meet lots of new people.

Q: What do you plan to do in the future? (Career, education, etc.)
A: I plan on going to The Ohio State University to achieve a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
