Gold Standards and Giving Hearts: NE FFA Earns Statewide Recognition
🚜 In May, our beloved Northeastern FFA Chapter enjoyed two days filled with fun, awards, and hands-on learning at The Ohio State Fairgrounds 🌾. During the 97th Ohio State FFA Convention, the chapter earned well-deserved recognition for its dedication and accomplishments over the past year. Their commitment to serving our community and growing as individuals is a big part of what makes them so special to our district. 🌟 Some highlights from the event include:
💙2024-2025 Officers Emma Skinner, Kaden Bereczky, and Abby Mefford received a pin for their Gold-Rated Officer Books🏅—Secretary, Treasurer, and Reporter. So proud of all your hard work. Way to go, you three!
💛Kaden Bereczky also walked across the stage to accept the chapter's Charitable Giving Award 🥇, which honors the success of our annual well-loved Pink Powder Puff event 💗. Each year, NE FFA holds this community event and raises funds for the Breast Cancer Endowment Fund while advocating for awareness. We're proud to be recognized for giving back in such a meaningful way🌟!
💙Peyton Bumgardner and Kaden Bereczky took the stage once more as our chapter was named a Gold-Rated Chapter🏅, an honor only given to 10% of all Ohio FFA Chapters! This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication that our chapter endlessly gives to our community. Well deserved 💫!
💛Lastly, six individuals received their Ohio FFA State Degree 🚜. This degree is the highest FFA degree you can earn in the state of Ohio. Through many qualifications, including GPA, community service hours, and many journaled hours of work for their projects, these six have surpassed expectations and have truly thrived in their chapter. Congratulations to Peyton Bumgardner, Carson Lookabaugh, Kaden Bereczky, Emma Skinner, Abby Mefford, and Jayla Sartin 🌾. This is such an honor to have six students represent NE FFA in this special way. Congratulations to you all! Your hard work and dedication have paid off 🌟!
