It has been a busy school year, and construction is well underway at Kenton Ridge’s new PK-12 building site!
The concrete slabs have been poured, gas lines installed, metal framing has gone up, and most of the work is taking place inside the facility. Both interior and exterior masonry walls have been completed in various areas throughout the building, and a pitched roof structure has been installed on the third floor. In addition, the exterior brick veneer continues to be installed along the north wall area, which is the kitchen and food services area, student dining, stage, and gymnasiums.
Northeastern Local School District (NELSD) will continue to provide updates to the community on the progress of both of our PK-12 buildings. Superintendent Kronour would like to encourage community members to reach out to him with any questions they may have as we continue to move through this exciting process.
The new Kenton Ridge PK-12 is located on the property south and east of the current Kenton Ridge High School and is slated to open at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year.
