Dear NELSD Families,
This morning we sent out messaging about a two-hour delay because of dense fog.
Typically, if there is a delay or closure you will be receiving these messages between 5:30 and 5:45 a.m. You will also find that information on our website and social media channels in that timeframe. Unfortunately, today’s message went out later than normal and we would like to apologize for our delayed communication.
We would also like families to start thinking about their alternative plans for delays, closures, or possible early releases. We know delays, closures, and early releases can add increased stress to an already hectic day. As a District, we want you to know that we will do our best to communicate with you as early as possible to help reduce that burden for our NELSD parents/guardians, students and staff members.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the Board Office at (937) 325-7615 or send me an email at [email protected]
