Preschool Information

Preschool Screening Dates: Wednesday, Aug. 19, Thursday, Aug. 20, and Friday, Aug. 21, 2026
- Details will be sent out regarding scheduling screening appointments.
Preschool Orientation Schedule
- Monday, Aug. 24, 2026 - Kenton Ridge Elementary
  - 8:00-9:15 a.m. - If your child is in the AM Classroom for Mrs. Sturgeon
  - 1:00 - 2:15 p.m. - If your child is in the PM Classroom for Ms. Schafer
  - 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. - If your child is in the PM Classroom for Mrs. Sturgeon
  - 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. - If your child is in the AM Classroom for Ms. Schafer

Kindergarten Information

KRA Screening Dates: Wednesday, Aug. 19, Thursday, Aug. 20, and Friday, Aug. 21, 2026
- Principals will send out more information regarding the KRA Screening appointments.
Staggered Start: Parents will bring their students in at 8:30 a.m. They will stay with their students from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. for a parent meeting, and they will stay for the remainder of the day.
August 24th: Last names A-K
August 25th: Last names L-Z
All kindergarten students will begin attending full-time starting on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026.

Open House Information

Class lists will be available in ProgressBook by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026.

Monday, Aug. 17, 2026 - Kenton Ridge and Northeastern Elementary Schools (Grades K-5) from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Monday, Aug 17, 2026 - *Kenton Ridge and Northeastern Middle & High Schools (Grades 6-12) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Kenton Ridge High School Parking Passes
Students may purchase parking passes in the office starting Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026.

7:00 a.m. - Seniors
8:00 a.m. - Juniors and Sophomores

Households may apply for free or reduced-price meal benefits. Free/Reduced Meal Applications can be submitted via the online system PaySchools Central. Eligibility for free and reduced-price lunch is based on federal income guidelines or participation in other programs such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Ohio Works First.
